Based in Metro Manila, Exploding Galaxies is a new publishing house committed to rediscovering some of the best out-of-print "lost classics" of Philippine literature.

We launched our press in 2023 with the first Philippine edition of Wilfrido D. Nolledo's novel, But for the Lovers. This is the first time that the novel had been widely accessible to its Filipino readers in over fifty years since it was first published.

Through the books we republish, we hope to help make more visible the constellations in Philippine literature that had been obscured by the lack of access to these titles for decades. Now these titles can be picked up again, shared with new and old readers, talked about, and read.

Carrying our series of covers where each author name is reintroduced in big, bold, neon letters, every new book returned to the shelves has been a cause for celebration.

While our first and primary series is focused on rediscovering novels and short stories in English, Tagalog, and other regional languages, we also have plans to publish food books, only one poetry book, and a few more unusual rediscoveries. Follow us as we continue to explore what's out there.

We are also in the process of launching our journal, "e.g." in 2025.
